Another update in the lives of the Johnson's! Haven turned 2 on the 11th of July! Mommy and Daddy bought him a swing set for the backyard...it took ALL morning to put it together! But was well worth the wait according to Haven =)

He had a wonderful party at Chuck-E's... though maybe not as much fun as Daddy!
He was definitely blessed with lots of fun toys. And when I say fun I mean noisy!
Haven is getting to be such a little man. He has a beautiful smile, when he chooses to share it, and he has a personality that shines!

With age he has even learned how to ride his tricycle! He is definitely a safe driver.

The kids visited from Iowa in July and we all had a marvelous time. We did all sorts of fun stuff...
We celebrated the 4th of July....
We went fishing,

There was Garden Of the Gods
And Cheyenne Mtn Zoo too!

Haven went on his first camp trip that included a boating trip with Uncle Ed, Aunt Becca, Samuel, and his friend

and lots of fun with Cousin Isaac!

There was tons to celebrate in August! Like Birthdays
Grampy's!
and Grammy's!
Then we celebrated with Jasmine at her Bridal Shower! We had a marvelous time at Biaggios Italian food was scrumptuous!

ALL the family was here to celebrate her big day.
The Grandma's, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and all the loved ones came from all over the US and St. Thomas too.

Thats right lil J is now married! To Austin Lewis. It was a beautiful ceremony at Peterson AFB and a lovely reception followed at The Cheyenne Mtn. Resort.

There was much fun to be had....Especially by Daddy who finally let loose and enjoyed his little sister's wedding...in his Jordan's!

Daddy had also gone to Chicago in August and broke his nose...this was the corrective surgery that he had to get in September....I didn't even recognized my own hubby! His best friend TJ, more like a brother, came to visit from Texas with his wife Sharonda and we had fun spending time with them. We are soooo grown up now! Then of couse we celebrated Mommy's 28th birthday at Chili's it was a great day....

but lets not dwell on this...

Our happiest and most exciting news....Baby Johnson #2 is due to arrive May 15, 2010! We are so excited and Haven definitely can't wait to be a big brother! =)

More to come!

A lot has happened in the Johnson household! Mommy has been so busy at work, that updates have become obsolete. Almost an entire year since my last one, and boy has it been an eventful year! Well lets go back....

Christmas was an amazing time of year...we are still in our beautiful home and we were blessed to be able to spend time with family! Not only one side but both sets of parents live in town so all were joyously seen.Haven was a proud member of the "Baby Dedication" at church, basically saying that our church family, and immediate family, alongside Myron and I, will help to rear him in the ways and paths of God!

Haven has grown in leaps in bounds! He is so much like his daddy, but totally a momma's boy.

He has had quite a few 1st's this past year...

First time eating ribs was a joy to daddy's heart!

Successfully accomplished and mastered the stairs...with an occasional set back...or two.
Learned how to conserve energy...

No more bottles, "big boi" cups now...

Brush his own "bunnies"

And wants "baf" everyday. We recently adjust his crib into a big boy bed, so he is more independent.
He loves to help mommy with many a task...
Especially when it comes to home cookin...I mean eating...
And he has learned many new exciting things...
The delightful entertainment of the Wii
The satisfaction of reading

The aptitude for multi-tasking
And how to simply enjoy a sunny day! A lots been happening with daddy too...He got a long contract job where he was able to get his TS reinstated. So the opportunities for better jobs are light in the tunnel now. This wonderful job progress even allowed mommy to stay at home, and start back to school. Working towards my Masters in Education has been a blessing, as it has really helped me to focus on my goals. In February I was able to accept a long term sub job at King elementary! I worked with 5th and 6th grade reading and math. I enjoyed the experience but prefer staying at home with my honeys.
